Griffin Capital Partners’ equity arm is growing. Paweł Caruk and Michał Lewicki have joined the company and, together with Tomasz Mrowczyk, will lead the development of Griffin’s private equity activities. This move reflects the firm’s long-term strategy to strengthen its presence in the sector, building on a solid track record and deep expertise in real estate.
Paweł Caruk has assumed the role of Co-Managing Partner, responsible for sourcing, executing, and overseeing private equity transactions outside the real estate sector. He brings 15 years of experience from pan-European private equity funds, including IK Partners and MidEuropa, where he led investment activities in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. He also served as Vice President of the Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (PSIK). Paweł holds two master’s degrees from the Warsaw School of Economics and is ACCA-qualified.
Michał Lewicki joins Griffin as Senior Vice President Investments, focusing on private equity transactions. He previously worked at Rothschild & Co as Assistant Director, advising clients across Central and Western Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia on M&A and capital markets transactions. He also gained experience at Kulczyk Family Office and Citi, working in corporate finance and asset-liability management. Michał holds a degree in Finance and Accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics, with specialization in international financial markets and corporate finance, and he is a CFA® Charterholder.
Maciej Dyjas, Co-Owner and Managing Partner at Griffin Capital Partners, commented: “While real estate remains at the core of our identity, our investment activity has long extended beyond it. As we scale up our private equity operations, we are also expanding the team dedicated to this area. I am confident that Paweł and Michał will play a key role in delivering on our ambitious plans.”
Nebil Șenman, Co-Owner and Managing Partner at Griffin Capital Partners, added: “We have made strong progress in private equity, both in Poland and across the region, mostly in renewable energy, and most recently, infrastructure. Strengthening the team will further enhance our capabilities going forward.”
