Located in the heart of Wola, a dynamically developing district of Warsaw, Towarowa 22 is an investment plot with an area of 6.5 ha. In the past the plot was a location of a printing house and a shopping center. The area is now intended for multi-functional development, with a city park and a modernist pavilion as the central points of the future investment.
Griffin Capital Partners have advised on the sale of 70% share held by EPP to AFI Europe.
Currently, the project partners are AFI Europe and Echo Investment, who will jointly develop the commercial part of the complex (respectively holding 70% and 30% of shares). Echo Investment will independently be the investor of the residential for sale part (which was acquired from AFI Europe) and the Development Manager of the entire concept.
The investment will consist of ca. 200 thousand sqm, out of which approx. 50% will be assigned to office function and 50% to residential development, both for rent and for sale. The total plot value exceeded EUR 180m, which is one of the biggest land transactions in the history of Polish real estate market.
