StudentSpace, a student housing platform developed by SIGNAL, Griffin Capital Partners, and Echo Investment, has commenced construction of its second Warsaw project. The six-storey development will be located in the southern part of Mokotów. The investment scheduled to open in Q3 2027 will add nearly 600 beds to Warsaw's PBSA market.
The new StudentSpace development will comprise six floors with an additional underground level. It will offer nearly 600 beds as well as four retail units. Following the opening of first dormitories in Kraków last year and the first Warsaw facility becoming operational this year, StudentSpace is now further strengthening its footprint in the country’s biggest academic market. The project is scheduled to welcome its first residents in the 2027/2028 academic year.
Anna Czaplicka, Head of Sales at StudentSpace, says: “This investment is a natural continuation of our strategy to build a scalable PBSA platform that responds to sustained demand for modern, well-located student accommodation. By creating vibrant spaces that support students not only with a place to live, but with an environment that helps them study, connect and thrive, we are building a platform that is both purpose-driven and commercially resilient. Every out project reflects exactly that approach: combining scale, functionality and everyday convenience to deliver lasting value for residents and for the platform itself.”
The new StudentSpace Warsaw dorm will be developed at the corner of Beethovena and Dziekońskiego streets in Warsaw’s southern Mokotów, close to the area’s key transport corridors, Jana III Sobieskiego and Ludwika Idzikowskiego streets. It’s a location firmly embedded in the urban fabric, with convenient access to universities, everyday services, green areas and places for leisure and social life. Investment will offer over 200 parking spaces, together with dedicated bicycle parking, supporting the mobility needs of residents and reinforcing the project’s practical, city-friendly character. The building will also include laundry, coworking areas, co-living spaces and other shared zones designed to foster integration, community building and everyday comfort.
StudentSpace's mission is to create a connected environment where students can live, study, meet and develop in a setting that supports both academic progress and personal growth. By combining well-designed private rooms, shared amenities, services and community spaces, the platform aims to build a living experience that reflects how today’s students actually want to live – with comfort, flexibility, quality life and a strong sense of belonging.
